SpiceC2 Initial Product Release ACCIT-New Systems Research has scheduled the first live demos of its product offering, SpiceC2, at the 47th Design Automation Conference (DAC), which took place in Anaheim, CA, June 14-17, 2010. The product is a transient analysis module, as a part of a full precision true analog simulator, implemented on parallel architectures. The product has been tested using data from a selected pool of beta sites, including Tier-1 Silicon Valley companies . SpiceC2 Technology
SpiceC2 uses heterogeneous massively parallel computing resources such as GPGPU, multicore, and multiscocket SMP/networked distributed clusters. We adopt a "Total Solution" concept. Our products are based on the simultaneous development of both the EDA algorithms and software, in parallel with an optimized high performance computing platform. The solutions are designed
using industry-standard components and software interfaces, to allow
user-managed continuous upgrade of both hardware and software, and to ensure
long product life in the field. Product Offering The product offering is in the
form of both "end product" targeted towards the design community, as well as "software-hardware engines" to be run from within other industry-adopted products offered by major solution providers.
