Software Researchers Published November 7, 2009 We have two full-time employment openings for software research engineers. The candidates will be hired at ACCIT in Cairo (Sheraton Heliopolis Area). ACCIT offers full insurance and medical coverage. Description The candidates will work on the the development of EDA/CAD tools on parallel architectures. The researchers are expected to be willing to learn and engage in a variety of new topics including: Numerical methods programming, parallel programming on multiprocessor, multicore and manycore architectures, profiling of execution bottlenecks, Linux server deployment, GUI, data structure optimization, and QA. Preference will be given to those with circuits background, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and ability to implement computational and scientific algorithms. Understanding of computer architectures and real time programming is a must. Basic Requirements Full-time availability, with military service status fully finalized. Strong C/C++ skills, and assembly language experience. Linux familiarity is a must. B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer or Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science. Electronics Engineering candidates should have strong computer hardware/software background. Fresh and medium experience (0-5 years) are strongly encouraged to apply. Grade of V. Good, but those who have exceptional scientific/technical records can also submit their resumes. Specific Requirements: Opening #1: - Strong backgrounds in mathematics, numerical methods programming and matrix algebra. - Familiarity with basic circuit theory.
